100 Days of Summer: Part 2

Hello again world and Happy Memorial Day Weekend! As I promised, I will be keeping you updated on the actual events in my life. This weekend, Tanner and I are going back to LA to see my parents for the long weekend. You’ll see all the photos from this trip in next week’s update.

It’s been a slow summer for me so far, but I’ve been keeping up with creating consistent blog content and working on my current blog course: Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing. I haven’t implemented any strategies yet, but I did make my first affiliate sale ever this week! So exciting!

I’ve also been doing pretty good at sticking to my workout schedule. I’m currently doing Kayla’s BBG Program and so far, I’ve lost 2 pounds. I’m just trying to get rid of some of that pesky college weight. It’s been a lot easer lately to meal plan and workout without deadlines coming up with school. I’ve also been a lot less stressed, which it probably going to help with weight loss and overall health as well.

In other news, my credit card information was stolen this week. The fraud was caught, which was awesome, but being a victim of credit card fraud is never fun.

On Wednesday night, I drove from Tucson to Phoenix to shoot with the talented Ayren Cobb (Check her out HERE). She’s based out of Indiana, but happened to be in Arizona, so we made an event out of it! I “met” her on Instagram maybe about a year ago and we’ve been following each other ever since. It’s always fun to meet Instagram friends in real life. The photos she took are absolutely beautiful and you can see a few below. I will be posting the rest in their own separate posts at a later date.

I also started going through my closet this week and decided to donate about a quarter of it and decided to try to sell another quarter. I will be listing everything on Poshmark, but I’ve only put up a few listings so far. (I even listed a pair of Quay Sunglasses!) I’m trying to do a complete wardrobe re-haul, which means rallying deep cleaning it and getting rid of anything I haven’t worn in the past year. To be honest, if I haven’t worn it in a year, I probably won’t wear it again.

Now, I’m not the best at closet clean-outs because I’m always getting stuff in the mail. I got 5 packages yesterday! Probably close to 15 this week alone. Is anyone else an avid online shopper? This week, I got the cutest cactus shirt ever (peep it on my Insta story), a cute palm print crop top, two dresses from The Mint Julep Boutique for a wedding guest outfit post, some new beauty items, and a replacement Fitbit Alta charger. (Anyone want to be friends on Fitbit? Message me!)

So what’s coming up next week?

  1. An outfit post featuring the perfect summer off-shoulder top
  2. Another outfit post with another off-shoulder top (figures)
  3. A 100 Days of Summer update with photos from LA!

Catch ya next week!
