So maybe I’m not a frequent festival-goer, but I sure do love a bohemian-inspired look. Maybe it’s because I live in the desert, but festival-style just works here. Like, how good do those cactus look in the background? Literally perfect. Plus, cacti are so in right now.
One of the trends I have noticed, however, is that festival style can be a bit expensive. For example, brands that sell at Revolve like Blue Life and Free People, are a bit in the pricier range. I don’t even wear this style every day, so that cost-per-wear ratio gets a bit high. But this dress from Fifth and Maple fits the bill – literally. It’s about $50 dollars, which isn’t super cheap, but it’s definitely in the more affordable range for a festival dress! And when you’ve already shelled out a lot for festival tickets, affordable festival style is a must.
I absolutely love the shell buttons down the front and the tie waist which nips ya’ in at just the right place. I got a size medium and felt that it was pretty true-to-size since I’m a size six and usually about a medium.
This dress has a lot going on, so I paired it with more simple accessories. My black Seychelles mules from Maude Boutique were the perfect shoe to wear with this dress and matched perfectly with my black double buckle western belt.
What are you thinking of wearing to any festivals this year? What festivals are on your must-see list?
