When I saw this dress from SheIn a while ago, I knew I wanted it. I had no idea for what kind of occasion I would wear it, but I knew I wanted to wear it. I ended up getting the dress for free from SheIn to style as I wanted to and I wore it for the elegant night on our cruise. I can officially say that I turned some heads and I was proud of that. My boyfriend was practically speechless.
It’s not a very expensive dress: in fact, it’s under $30. What a steal. Now, buyer beware, it does run small. I’m wearing a large and even though there is plenty of room pretty much everywhere, the waist is a bit tight. It does fit, but I certainly wouldn’t mind if it was a little looser.
I wore it with a favorite piece of mine from Favor jewelry, who I showcased a little while back in the winter time. When I originally wore this dress, I paired it with a pretty pair of heels, but those weren’t really good for climbing up to the top of this mountain. I switched out the heels for some Grecian-looking sandals, and now I’ve got a whole Greek goddess-type thing going on. Trust me, it feels pretty empowering to stand on top of a mountain in a maxi dress.
Anyway, admire my good-looking tan while it lasts because I am currently losing it as I try to study for my upcoming finals. I’m still dreaming of the cruise at the moment, so just let me enjoy it while it lasts.
