in a galaxy far far away

Graphic tees will never seem to go out of style. Whether they are band tees or vintage tees or comical tees, graphic content is in. I actually cut this Star Wars shirt to be a muscle tank because the short sleeves just didn’t work for me.

This is one of my favorite tees that I picked up at Target in Australia while I was studying abroad. As it turns out, Star Wars is cross-cultural. Denim mini skirts are making a comeback too and I’m excited to hop back on the trend. Instead of the deconstructed skirts I used to go for, I like the lines and soft denim in this Free People skirt. It’s casual enough to wear to class but nice enough to wear out to the bars. There’s nothing I love more than a multi-functional piece of clothing.

Out of all the looks from my September shoot, my boyfriend liked this one the best, but even he admitted the graphic tee made me look way cooler than I actually am. Okay, maybe he didn’t say it quite like that.

The red lipstick is a new staple in my makeup drawer, strictly because it looks nice and it doesn’t take much time. For someone who is new to the whole makeup thing, that’s crucial. My new favorite color is Diva by MAC, but apparently I’m way late to the party; everyone already owns this color.

Anyway, this outfit is one of my favorites to transition from summer to fall. The white doesn’t stand out too much and the dark denim is perfect for the season. Also, it’s still over ninety degrees here, so is it really fall yet?

Thank you! I love graphic tees and sometimes I think they look to grungy, so I thought this would be a good halfway point!

What a cute look! I love graphic teea. I enjoy pairing mine with high-waisted shorts. I’m so glad the denim skirt is coming back. I wore them all the time growing up!
