Hello world and happy Monday! I’m not sure how your weekend was, but mine was probably filled with a bit too much drinking and a lot of fun. On Friday night, I went to the World Margarita Championship (full recap coming soon) and on Saturday, I did sake bombs with some friends in my accounting program before going to a hockey game. All-in-all, I think I had a pretty good time.

On a quick side-note: can you believe that it’s already October? This fall semester has been flying by before my eyes. I seriously blinked once and now it’s fall.
I think I’ve said it before, but fall is a major favorite among fashion bloggers. Summer is great, but fall lets you layer.
It gave me a reason to get a bit adventurous with my style this weekend, making it one of my more fashionable weekends. I mean, I changed my outfit for each occassion – that’s dedication y’all. I wore this outfit on Friday night, a killer outfit to brunch on Saturday, and then a cute fall outfit (complete with a suede jacket) to the hockey game. Honestly, I was so proud of each outfit.
As I said, I wore this outfit out and about on Friday and received endless compliments. I did some errands running around town and so many people stopped me to compliment this lace kimono. It’s easy to see why. This kimono is perfect for the Arizona fall weather. It has just enough fall vibes without being a too-heavy cardigan in the hot weather.
The rest of my outfit is just a bunch of basics really: high-waisted jeans, black mules, and a black tank top. The white statement earrings are kinda fun, but it was this kimono that really pulled this look together. I know I’m going to be styling this kimono a lot this fall – it’s too cute not to break out as many times as possible!
What’s your favorite fall accessory when the weather is still making ya’ sweat?
