As far as summer outfits go, I think this one is my favorite. I put this one together on a whim, originally buying this kimono to wear as a dress. Literally, I pulled it out of the bag and put it on as a dress right away. Before my boyfriend could even finish the sentence, “that dress is cute,” I was like “yeah, and it’s a kimono!”
Seriously, there is nothing better than functional fashion. Things that double as other things are the way to my heart. Food is also the way to my heart, but that’s not really the point.
This kimono by Saltwater Luxe and I got it from my favorite boutique Maude. It is perfect for spring and summer to wear over a pair of shorts and a shirt, like I did here, or by itself, which is coming up soon.
The shorts are my favorite pair from American Eagle and the bodysuit is from Lovers and Friends. The bodysuit was another #poshfind, but the shorts I bought at a BOGO sale at American Eagle. In fact, I loved the shorts so much, I bought four pairs in four colors.
Also, lowkey my hair looked perfect for this shoot so I am obsessed with how these photos turned out!
