Now, if any of you follow me on insta (if you don’t, you should @kirstenortez), you’ve been seeing a lot from my most recent London trip. What can I say? I can never stay in one place too long.
There are a ton of things in London that I’ve done already but the thing I am most excited to talk about is tea at the Radio Rooftop bar. I’ve been to tea once before, but I was so excited for this one. First of all, it’s on a rooftop. Other than sitting and eating in the blazing sun (which was out in full force in London, actually a huge surprise and a blessing), this was easily the best part. The view from the top of the bar was incredible. Other than from the London Eye, which I will be talking about in another post soon, this was the best view of London I had ever seen.
Tea is 45 pounds per person, which is on the pricey side, but it is totally worth it. You get to choose which tea you would like, I can recommend the Green Peach tea, and you are served an array of savories and sweets. You are even served a little whipped ice cream-like thing in the middle as a “palette cleanser.” Ooh, how fancy!
I think my favorites were the little finger sandwiches, especially the one with the beef and the one with salmon and cucumber. Yum!
And look at that view! Amazing! If you ever want to go, make sure to make reservations in advance because this place does fill up.
