Not Your Groupie

If you can’t tell by now, I definitely have a few favorite pieces in my closet. Yes, this is the same jacket you’ve been seeing all over my insta and in several previous posts. In fact, this outfit is incredibly similar to a fall look I posted a while back; I just changed the shirt and added tights. I also wore my hair straight instead of curls, which drastically changed my whole look.

This photoshoot location was pretty cool; it’s at the Rialto in Tucson. This is the backstage entrance where a local artist comes and paints the upcoming musicians on the wall and the artists enter the Rialto from this exact staircase that I’m sitting on. Now, it’s Tucson, so we don’t get a ton of really recognizable artists, but from time to time, we really get some gems.

I actually wear this look to class, for those of you wondering if fashion bloggers actually wear what we post, but I usually switch out these heeled booties for some flat Chelsea boots. In fact, I would say this is one of my favorite winter outfits, right next to booties, a sweater, and skinny jeans.

Since the only thing you haven’t seen before in this look is my flannel, I will say that Urban Outfitters has discounted flannels from time to time that make them way more reasonably priced. This flannel is actually my favorite fit and cut from all the ones I’ve owned in the past so I’m hoping to stock up on maybe a white one and a red one. Only time will tell what color I get next.

Love the leather skirt and how it contrasts with the denim jacket. I’ve never been big on mixing on textures but I definitely think it looks cool. Also, I totally agree that just having your hair curled or straight does dramatically change your outfit!

The flannel + leather skirt go so well together! You look so gorgeous, too. I really want to jump on the mini skirt train, embroidered skirts have been on my wishlist for SO long.
