Ringly: The Perfect Accessory for the Modern Woman on the Move

Wearable technology. I think, when people mentioned this ten years ago, we all shook our heads in disbelief. From getting my very first FitBit Flex to now, wearables have come a long way. I used to be embarrassed of my wearables, stuffing them in my pockets so no one could see them but I could still count my steps.

The new Ringly bracelet I have is totally different. I mean, it doesn’t even look like a wearable. I have the luxe bracelet from Ringly (it comes in several styles) and I love it. So, will it be good for you?

Appearance:

It’s so cute, people actually complimented me on it. This isn’t your typical fitness wearable – this wearable is most definitely meant for the fashionistas.

I have the rose gold Ringly Luxe, which features a gorgeous moonstone on top. Since most of my jewelry is already rose gold, it matches so many of my outfits perfectly. The moonstone is also a nice subtle stone that won’t clash with your outfits.

Ease of Use:

The Ringly app is one of my favorite apps in my phone. It’s intuitive, easy to use, and aesthetically pleasing. I would say, as far as phone apps go, this one is pretty good (and crash-free). For those of you who have a Fitbit and are thinking of switching, this is pretty similar but unfortunately not compatible with the FitBit app.

Functionality:

If anything, I would say the battery life is a little short. However, it works well and completely as described. The vibration on the bracelet is a bit violent (it’s super loud if you have it laying on a desk) and the blinking lights are a bit bright. It’s definitely not subtle, but it works.

My verdict?

I love my Ringly. If you’re a fitness fanatic, you may prefer a FibBit. but if you want a step counter that’s fashionable, this is probably your best bet. For those who work in an office, this is a great choice and it’s notification features are perfect if you want to put your phone away but you’re still waiting for a phone call.

My verdict is a ‘yes’ because Ringly fits in my lifestyle. Just keep your own in mind when picking out your own wearable!
