I talked about the importance of buying ethically-produced clothing a little while back in the post: Ethical Fashion and Being a Global Citizen. Although, I understand buying ethically and sustainably produced clothing and accessories isn’t the easiest or cheapest task, I do think that how we choose to spend our dollars is important. If we choose to spend our money on ethical and sustainable products, the fashion world will shift with us.
That’s why I’m so excited to share this Boho by Spence collection of jewelry with you guys. This line of jewelry was created specifically with millennial women in mind and built around our values and value. The values of this collection are the same that I align with: travel, fashion, art, creativity, freedom, and feminism. This collection is unique in that it also reflects the values of innovation, care for the environment, and care for society.
Collection Story:
The collection features Artisan Created Diamonds which are sustainably-made and ethical (1% of each purchase goes to the NGO Not For Sale to alleviate human trafficking). These diamonds are identical to mined diamonds, but come with a lower environmental impact and lower price tag. Not only do they eliminate any unethical impact with the Artisan Created Diamonds, they are also working to repair the damage by building schools and housing for those displaced by the hub of diamond exploitation in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Boho by Spence Collection embraces the spirit of the wanderer. We exude creativity, overcome any obstacle, fear no challege, seek adventure, and remain morally grounded. We take pride in our style, look for every opportunity to travel, and value the time with our friends and family. This collection is for the independent thinkers, the culturally curious, the compassionate and the socially responsible.
