Triangl Bikini Review for the Well-Endowed

I read a lot of blog reviews and watched a lot before I finally decided to purchase my first Triangl bikini. Over the years, I’ve owned 3 – one from their very first neoprene collection, a second one from one of their later collections with floral bottoms and a white crochet underwire top, and now this neon orange ribbed set. Now, they no longer make the first two sets I purchased, but I can say that, without a doubt, this new set is my all-time favorite.

I was hesitant to purchase a bikini from Triangl for a long time because very few girls with my body type were featured on any of their social media pages. Unfortunately, that is still the case. To make matters worse, most of the girls who did bikini hauls on YouTube had the same body type! While there is nothing wrong with that, it made deciding my own sizes much more difficult. Since then, they have added more helpful reviews to their website, which helped me decide on what sizes to purchase for my most recent set.

My Sizes:

I define myself as “curvier” although not heavy. I would say I’m a pretty average weight at around 160 lbs at a height of 5’7″. Since I have an hourglass figure, I hold most of my weight in my butt, hips and chest, so I was also concerned about having enough support in the top. Across the board, I’m usually a size Medium on the bottom and Large on the top, occasionally going with a Large on bottom to achieve a slightly looser fight around my hips and thighs.

Bra size: 34DDD/34G
Jean size: 28-30, US 6-8

I purchased the Pipa set in Pop Orange with a size XL in the top and L on the bottom.

Customer Service:

Customer service was somewhat helpful. I did like their instant chat feature. You can get immediate help from them at pretty much all hours of the day. For anyone who hates having to contact customer service – this is a huge plus. I never had to spend hold for hours. They were pretty helpful with sizing although I would recommend talking to about 3 different people before settling on a size. They have a tendency to recommend one size too small.

Shipping and Customs:

Their shipping was unbelievably fast! I’ve ordered their swimsuits from both Australia and the US, and didn’t have issues either time. From my experience, all orders were shipped from Hong Kong. I expected shipping to take at least a week with all my orders and received all of my orders in just a few days, some in as little as two business days!

In both Australia and the US, I didn’t have to pay any customs fees, although this could differ based on your own country.

Price:

If you really think about it, $80-$100 isn’t too bad for a price tag. Many bikinis are in that range or even more if it’s a quality brand. You get to choose both the top and bottom size, so that is also nice. Based on the quality, I would not say that this bikini is overpriced.

Sizing and Fit:

Overall, this brand definitely runs on the smaller size. The Large bottoms are a little tight on my hips, but I don’t think I would go up another size either. The extra large top fit about as expected. I wasn’t expected there to be a ton on fabric, but it definitely feels like it’s on the smaller size. If I tighten the straps too much, I run the risk of my boobs just slipping out the bottom. Not ideal.

However, I still love how this swimsuit fits, just go up a size if you are on the edge of one size or another.

My Recommendation:

I love this swimsuit. I get compliments every single time I wear it and I’m already planning on getting another one. The colors are beautiful and vibrant and the suit is very high-quality. Even though this bikini brand runs on the smaller side, I would recommend this swimsuit if it’s something they have in your size. The XL top is able to accomodate my chest, but, if you have a larger chest size, this one might not work for you.
