How to Transition Your White Crop Flares to Colder Weather

I’ll be honest with ya’ – white crop flares are hard to style. White alone is hard to style with pants. When they also have a unique shape like crop flares, it gets even tougher. These crop flares from Maude Boutique are a little longer than my other pair of crop flares and didn’t have a high waist, which I wasn’t used to.

Instead of going out and trying to pull together a look for y’all, I decided to raid my closet to see what I could find. Each look is put together for fall and specifically meant to cater to weather as it gets colder throughout the season. Honestly, the looks are pretty simple and I’m sure that you can pull something like this together just like I did!

For a warmer Day:

This look was one of the simplest looks, but I loved how the denim shirt looked with the white pants. I always loving pairing denim and white together and this look was no exception. Personally, I prefer to pair my crop flares with a tiny heel – which is why I’m sporting a short block heel sandal. I wore it with a cold shoulder denim shirt to give it some last days of summer vibes without going over the top.

For when it starts cooling down:

Again, a simple look, but as the weather gets colder, I love a good wool turtleneck. This one has unfortunately been devoured in places by moths but I’m hoping to replace it or get it repaired soon! Note to self: invest in mothballs. The look is overall pretty casual, so I bumped it up a notch with simple, polished black pumps. These babies are from Macy’s and are the perfect simple heel with a touch of detail to ramp up any outfit.

For an extra layer:

Last, my favorite look and perfect for colder fall days. I bought this red jacket years ago and it’s definitely a favorite piece of mine in my closet. Last year, I styled it with dark bottoms and a white top, so it’s only appropriate that I flipped it this year for a more unique and fashion-forward look.

Do you have any tips for styling crop flare pants too?
